Free Online Course – Basic Awareness of Safeguarding of Children
A free online Basic Awareness of Safeguarding of Children course for anyone aged 12+ involved in swimming is available from the Institute of Swimming.
Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility so the Institute of Swimming have created this free online module with Swim England to give everyone involved in clubs or swimming lessons a basic overview of child safeguarding.
Whether you are a parent, coach or volunteer, we want to make sure you are prepared and know how to respond if you have concerns.
You must be at least 12 years of age at the start of the course.
