Consett ASC understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal data is used. We respect the value of the privacy of our members and parents and will only collect and use personal data in ways that are described in the GDPR Policy, and in a way that is consistent with our obligations and members rights under the law.
Personal data is any data about you that enables you to be identified. Personal data covers obvious information such as your name and contact details, but it also covers less obvious information such as identification numbers, electronic location data and other online identifiers.
We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary considering the reason(s) for which it was first collected.
We ask members, or parents of members under the age of 18, for permission to contact them by email in matters relating to Club business on the annual Club membership form.
We also request permission to use photographs on the annual membership form. These could be used on any printed or electronic media examples include; newsletters, newspaper articles, notice boards, websites.

We use this anonymous information solely for statistical purposes in order to help us make our site more useful and relevant to visitors. We do not collect any personally identifiable information e.g. Names, Email Addresses, Postal Addresses. Personally provided information. Visitors to the website do not have to give us personal information to visit our site, however, all communications addressed to Consett Amateur Swimming Club or its officers/committee members may be stored for reference purposes.
